Veniamoci incontro a teatro/ The giant squid

The play staged at the Teatro Apollo for the theatre season of the Municipality of Lecce and Teatro Pubblico Pugliese is based on the novel of the same name by Fabio Genovesi, who also signs the adaptation. On stage with "Il calamaro gigante", an Enfiteatro and Teatro nazionale Genova production, are Angela Finocchiaro and Bruno Stori, directed by Carlo Sciaccaluga. Angela, the protagonist, leads a life like many others, in which dreams and passions bend to the rigid dictates of family and society, leaving her impatient. But one day, in a whirlwind out of the world and space, together with Monfort, she embarks on a journey that will take her on the adventures of men and women who have had the courage to embrace the sea. And as with the search for the mythological giant squid, the metaphor is served: dreams come true, impossible loves happen.

Tickets from 15 to 25 euros. It is possible to buy a suspended ticket, which goes to associations, family homes and social cooperatives for those who cannot afford to go to the theatre.
