Le Bal. Italy dancing from 1940 to 2001

Italian history from the Second World War to the collapse of the twin towers... in dance steps. It is "Le Bal. L'Italia che balla dal 1940 al 2001", a show by Giancarlo Fares that lands on the stage of the Politeama Greco with all its load of atmospheres and music that have marked the different decades. Jean-Claud Penchenat's French format takes its cue from a dance hall and traverses the events, even dramatic ones, that have marked history through dance and the Italian music that has been the background to society's customs. On stage 12 actors who, with the expressive power of their bodies and elegant, poetic and amusing choreography, take the audience by the hand and lead it through a colourful kaleidoscope of events.
