Teresa Vella/ The Forms of Time
Time, memory, fragility. These are the key words of Teresa Vella's polymateric exhibition. The Magliese artist emphasises the dialogical tension between time and our memories, the relationship between time and the fragility of some of the materials, such as glass and photographic paper, of which her works are made. The exhibition brings together installations, glass sculptures and photographs, creating an original encounter of expressions and artistic forms that are quite different from each other: "Stone Stories", installations made of stone and metal support; Murano glass works designed and made personally by Teresa Vella and photographs, which investigate the memory of things and their fragility. The visitor plunges into a dimension full of questions and returns to the surface, enriched by new meanings.
